PREGO

Weekly leaflet to help people pray the Sunday Mass Readings

PREGO is produced every week with reflections on next week's Sunday readings.

PREGO PLUS - There is an additional page (PREGO PLUS) providing simple background material on the two Scripture texts. We advise you to pray the texts first, then refer to PREGO PLUS if you wish.

Use PREGO for your prayergroup or for personal reflection.

Pray with the reading of next Sunday's Mass and you will find the Liturgy of the Word takes on new life and meaning.  The new PREGO is downloaded every Monday.

PREGO is produced by the St Beuno's Outreach Team of Wrexham Diocese led by Fr Damian Jackson SJ - St Beuno's Outreach website link

 Our Parish Prayer

God our Father you have chosen ordinary people from St. Edward's Parish

to undertake the extraordinary task of spreading your word through evangelisation

in this part of the world. By the power of the Holy Spirit may we have the strength and commitment

to find ways of spreading the good news of the gospel to a world which yearns for justice, peace and love.

We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ Our Lord.

Walk with me Lord in my despair, when I am troubled and through my agony

just as you promised you would -  'till the end of time'.

When my time has come meet me at the door when you open it to me.

When I see your smile may my face reflect it and bid me dwell for ever in paradise

with you and those I love, those who love you,

and those who have loved your children.
